How we manage vessel clearances and stay visas through official channels
We audit individual travel profiles, corporate sponsor letters, or vessel crew lists to verify entry credentials.
We draft required Indonesian guarantor letters, vessel manifests, and shipping agent declarations.
Applications are filed directly through Hubla (Sea Transport) or Kemenkumham (Immigration) portals.
We coordinate on-site biometrics at regional immigration offices or physical vessel inspections at ports of entry.
We secure the printed KITAS permit, sailing cruised approval SPB, or signed harbor master shore passes.
Essential details for foreign vessels, shipping crew, and expats entering Indonesia
Under Indonesian immigration law, every foreigner residing on a KITAS must have a local sponsor (either a corporate PT PMA, an Indonesian citizen spouse, or a licensed visa agency like Nusantara). We provide legal corporate sponsorship for Remote Work KITAS, Investment KITAS, and Retirement Permits, acting as your official guarantor.
CIQP stands for Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, and Port Health. Foreign yachts entering Indonesia must stop at an official Port of Entry. As your registered shipping agent, Nusantara meets your yacht at the anchorage, collects manifests, coordinates inspections with the quarantine officers, and files immigration and custom declarations to secure your Port Clearance (SPB).
Yes. Foreign crew changes require a Port sign-on/sign-off endorsement. The arriving crew member must travel with a Maritime Visa (e.g. C5 crew visa), sign on the ship's articles in the harbor master's logs, and the departing crew member must receive a sign-off stamp from Port Immigration. Nusantara handles this whole port change cycle.
An Investor KITAS is typically issued for 1 Year or 2 Years, and is fully renewable. After 5 consecutive years on a KITAS, you are eligible to apply for an Indonesian Permanent stay permit (KITAP), which is valid for 5 years and renewable for life.
